I just finished processing a bunch of gymnastics pictures i took last term but never had time to work on until now. I'll post a couple here but not many. I try to keep my DA gallery whittled down to my very best shots. I've got about 50 or so in the Sports--> Gymnastics section of my website though. [link]

I've got a roll of velvia in the old Pentax but have only shot about 7 frames so far. I need to find something to shoot and find the time to shoot it. The trees are blossoming and look great, but the days have all been overcast and the color flat. I'd love some nice warm sunset light to shoot with.

So i got this email from Artisterie.com. They make it sound like they liked my gallery and want me to join their site. I'm assuming they sent this letter to every member of DeviantArt. Did everybody else get that too? Anybody not get it?

I ordered an SB-800DX flash through Nikon's employee purchase program. I've really been wanting a flash and the price was pretty good so i went ahead and put it on the ol visa, lol. Anyway, i'm not sure how long it will take before i get it, but i'm really excited to have it.

I'll have a lot to learn i'm sure, what little experience i do have with flash photography has been just enough for me to realize that it adds a whole new complex layer that must be understood for best results.

Anyway, i can't wait to get it and start dinkin around.

Ok, so i'm finally getting the urge to go out and attempt some creative/artistic type pictures (instead of sports which is what i've mostly been doing since september) but I have no idea what to try. This is always difficult for me, and for most artists I assume.

Pitch me some ideas folks!

Wow, thank you nasioc. In like one day i got half as many page views as in the last couple months or something.
